RESPONSIBLE FOR NEW YEAR’S SHOOTING
Boston Police continue to seek the public’s assistance to locate a dangerous suspect wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day. Officers have identified 33 year old Mario Mendez as the individual responsible for this incident. Boston Police are searching for Mendez and need the community’s assistance.
On January 1, 2009 at approximately 1:29am, officers responded to a radio call for a person shot outside of 200 High Street (Revolution Bar). Officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital and was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Detectives conducted an exhaustive investigation which led to the identification of Mario Mendez as the individual responsible. Investigators recently sought and secured an arrest warrant for Mendez. Police consider this suspect armed and dangerous.

Height: 5’8’’-5’10’’
Hair: Black
LSD: 2008 or 2009 black Cadillac Escalade
