Boston Police conducted an investigation alongside the USPS and State Police which identified a case worker from the Compass School in Jamaica Plain who was receiving packages of marijuana via the postal service. Lester Robinson, 28, of Dorchester was arrested after receiving a package containing approximately 1.5 pounds of marijuana.Authorities became aware of the package because it contained a return address with a name that did not match. Furthermore, a Boston Police drug sniffing canine alerted that the package contained narcotics.
Robinson will be charged with Possession with intent to Distribute, Class D, Drugs Within 1000\’ School Zone & Possession with intent to Distribute, Class D, Drugs. He will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
