RELATIVE TO ‘THE WORLD OF WHEELS’ AT THE BAYSIDE EXPO CENTERBoston Police officers assigned to Area C-6 (South Boston/Dorchester) are reporting heavy traffic and congestion in and around the Bayside Expo Center. Officers are advising and encouraging those seeking to attend the ‘World of Wheels’ exposition to seek out and utilize public transportation. The MBTA Red Line and Old Colony (Plymouth/Kingston and Middleboro/Lakeville) Branch of the commuter rail both stop at the UMass/JFK station. The UMass/JFK station is located in close proximity to the Expo Center. The Bayside Expo Center is located at 200 Mt Vernon Street in Dorchester.
