BOSTON POLICE ARREST TWO IN CONNECTION WITH DORCHESTER SHOOTING INCIDENT

Boston Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a shooting incident which occurred earlier today in Codman Square. The victim, a 19 year old male, is currently listed in critical condition.About 9:14am, officers along with several units from C-11 and B-3, responded to a radio call for a person shot at 554 Washington Street in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Homicide detectives with the assistance of Districts C-11 and B-3 are investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident. This afternoon, officers placed 20-year-old Patrick M. Grier and a 16-year-old female both of Dorchester under arrest and charged them both with Assault with Intent to Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Discharging a Firearm within 500’ of a Dwelling..
