Boston Police are requesting that drivers seek an alternative route from the Boston Common/Theatre District area this morning. Currently there are traffic delays in that area caused by a power outage.This morning at approximately 5:38am, officers responded to the corner of Stuart and Tremont Street for a manhole explosion/power outage. Emergency workers are addressing the issue, but traffic is congested as a result.
