WHO: Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis, BPD Command Staff, BPD members, Recruit Graduates and their families and friends, Superintendent Kenneth Fong (Chief of the Bureau of Professional Standards & Development which includes the Academy), Academy Staff, and BPD Chaplains.
WHAT: The graduation of 37 Boston Police Recruits from the Boston Police Academy as well as four recruits from the Arlington Police Department. This will include the Oath of Office, administered for by Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis, Pass in Review with Honor Guard and Gaelic Column, Badge Pinning, Special Awards, and remarks by several of the distinguished guests, including Mayor Menino and Commissioner Davis.
