DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 46 ST. JAMES STREET

At about 10:25pm, on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 46 St. James Street. On arrival, officers located a 16 year-old black male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was subsequently pronounced. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending the victim’s family being notified and an autopsy report.The Boston Police are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
