DEATH INVESTIGATION AT EAST 8TH STREET IN SOUTH BOSTON

At about 11:05pm, on Saturday, May 31, 2008, officers from Area C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a man stabbed at 289 E. Eighth Street in South Boston. On arrival, officers located a black male in his early 20’s suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced. Per department protocol, the identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notifications and an autopsy report.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
