Wednesday, May 28, 2008, the BPD Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Mass State Police VFAS Unit, members of the Lynn Police Department and Agents from the US Marshall’s Service arrested Pedro Ortiz, 28, of Boston on a Suffolk Superior Court Warrant charging him with Murder in the death of Terrance Jacobs on May, 22, 2007 at Havelock Street and Blue Hill Avenue.Ortiz, along with five other defendants (already charged in the case), beat and stabbed Jacobs, causing his death. Ortiz was arrested without incident in an apartment in Lynn, MA. He will be arraigned tomorrow in Suffolk Superior Court.
