DAILY INCIDENTS FOR MONDAY, MAY 26, 2008

SANTA’S HELPER SPOTTED IN ROXBURYAt about 3:45pm, on Sunday, May 25, 2008, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a deer running around in the area of 35 Juniper Street. On arrival, officers observed a large deer roaming around the backyard of 38 Juniper Street. According to witnesses, the deer leapt a seven-foot fence before ending up in the backyard of 38 Juniper Street. In addition to Boston Police officers, Animal Control also responded to the scene. Since the deer appeared to be in good health and was in no immediate danger, the deer was left untouched and allowed to exit the area on its own.
FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN CHARLESTOWN CLAIMS ONE LIFE
At about 2:45am, on Monday, May 26, 2008, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Rutherford Avenue in Charlestown. On arrival, officers located a single motor vehicle, which had rolled over on its side. The motor vehicle contained two occupants. The operator of the motor vehicle was transported to the Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger of the motor vehicle was transported to Mass General Hospital where the passenger was later pronounced.
