On Friday, May 2, 2008 at approximately 7:10am, officers from Area E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for person shot in the area of 19 Oakcrest Road. On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene and subsequently identified as Daron Lee Ellison, 29, of Jamaica Plain.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
