At about 1:33am, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident in the area of 120 Rutherford Avenue. On arrival, officers located a black motor vehicle, still running with major body damage. According to the operator of the car, a red Ford Mustang cut him off forcing his car into a wall. According to the victim, both cars stopped. Victim further states a person riding in the passenger seat of the Ford Mustang jumped out of the car, walked over to him and stated that they were going to get help. It was at this time the Ford Mustang fled the scene and never returned. When officers asked the victim in the incident to provide a license, the victim, instead, showed officers his passport.
