DEATH INVESTIGATION AT DALE STREET

At about 10:00am, on Monday, April 8, 2008, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a body found inside Malcolm X Park in the area of 100 Dale Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from apparent head trauma. The victim was pronounced on the scene. The autopsy report from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined the cause of death came as the result of multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death deemed a homicide.The victim has been identified as Dion Campbell, 22, of Roxbury.
