BOSTON POLICE INVESTIGATE REPORT OF ATTEMPTED ABDUCTIONAt about 2:45pm, on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, officers from Area C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a suspicious man who approached a child in his motor vehicle in the area of G and E. 3rd Streets in South Boston. According to the victim, she was walking home from school when a man in a light blue or gray car pulled up next to her. According to the victim, the suspect stated, “Get in my car.” At this point, the victim reversed direction and ran. As she did so, the suspect fled.
Suspect is described as a white male, in his late 30’s, with black and gray hair, an oval face, a dime-sized mole under his right eye, long nose and deep voice.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Detective James Doyle at Area C-6 (South Boston) at 617-343-4742.
