BOSTON POLICE APPREHEND HOMICIDE SUSPECT IN CONNECTION WITH THE DEATH INVESTIGATION AT ONE NASSAU STREET

At about 1:40pm, on Sunday, February 10, 2008, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 1 Nassau Street. On arrival, officers located a 27 year-old white male suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notifications and a medical autopsy.As a result of a swift, complete and thorough investigation, detectives from the Boston Police Homicide Unit, in conjunction with officers from Area A-1 (Downtown), were able to identify and apprehend a suspect in connection with the above homicide.
Anthony Chambers, 51, of Boston has been arrested and charged with Murder. The suspect is expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Boston Municipal Court.
