CONFIRMED SHOOTING IN THE AREA OF GREENBRIER & PARK STREETS

At about 10:40pm, on Sunday, February 3, 2008, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Greenbrier and Park Streets. On arrival, officers located a black male, lying in front of 377 Park Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, a 35 year-old black male, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notifications and a medical autopsy.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
