HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIEDAt about 3:05am, on Thursday, January 17, 2008, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 20 Stratton Street. On arrival, officers located a black male, lying outside the above address, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene. The victim has since been identified as Roderick Carter, 24, of Dorchester.
