At about 10:41pm, on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 16 Strathcona Road in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a 16 year-old Hispanic male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
