At about 4:10pm, Saturday, January 12, 2008, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 1443 Dorchester Avenue. On arrival, officers located a 20 year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
