This morning at approximately 1:49am, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to the intersection of Norton and Bowdoin Streets for a person shot. There, officers located a 23 year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical center where he was later pronounced.The victim has been identified as Joseph N. Clarke, 23, of Dorchester.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident.
