SHOPLIFTER ARRESTED IN ROXBURYAt about 8:32pm, on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shoplifting at the Intouch Wireless Store at 8 Park Plaza. On arrival, officers spoke to store employees who stated that a black male entered the store, stole several items and then left. Witnesses described the suspect as black male carrying a white bag and wearing green hat and black coat. As officers were exiting the store, they observed an individual matching the description of the suspect. After the individual was positively identified, officers arrested Aaron Williams, 46, of Boston and charged him with Shoplifting.
ATTACHED PLATE LANDS ONE IN CUSTODY
At about 3:21pm, on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) observed a motor vehicle with an expired registration sticker traveling in the area of Washington and Erie Streets. As a result, officers activated their emergency equipment (lights & sirens) and stopped the car. When officers queried the plates on the car, the plates came back stolen. When officers asked the operator of the motor vehicle about he came to possess the stolen plates, the operator stated, “I found them in a dumpster.” Officers arrested Jacob Hamilton, 39, of Dorchester and charged him with Attaching Plates and Operating an Unregistered and Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
