Suspect Arrested After Armed RobberyAround 1:58am, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to 1443 Blue Hill Avenue on a report of an abandoned 911 call from a residence. Officers were updated that the call was for an armed robbery and that the victim was at the address the abandoned call came from. Officers were informed that two black males robbed the victim at gunpoint and fled in a green vehicle.
Officers spoke with the victim who stated he had been dropped off on Blue Hill Avenue and was walking home alone talking to his mother on his cell phone. The victim stated at that point two black males exited from a green vehicle and approached him. The victim told his mother that he was being robbed. The victim described one of the suspects as wearing a black hat, green coat, boots, a goatee and having a teardrop tattoo near his right eye. The second suspect was described as a black male and bald.
The victim stated that the first suspect told him that he “wouldn’t get hurt if he gave up the cell phone” and reached towards his right side, and stated, “I have a gun.” The victim did not actually see a gun but believed that the suspect had one. The victim stated that the suspect opened up the phone and gave him back the SIM card from the cell phone. After the robbery both suspect got back into the vehicle and fled up Blue Hill Avenue.
Shortly after given out the description officers observed a male fitting the description on Cummins Highway at Rexford Street getting into a green vehicle. The victim positively identified the suspect. Gregory Robinson, 31, of Mattapan was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery. Officers were able to recover the victim’s phone.
Breaking and Entering Of Business
Early this morning around 2:30am, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for a business alarm at 11 Charles Street. On arrival, officers did observe the top left glass panel of the front door to be broken. Officers searched the building with the assistance of a K-9 for suspects to no avail. The owner arrived on scene shortly thereafter and informed officers that the store safe was missing. The owner could not confirm how much currency was in the safe at the time.

Making The Streets Colorful Landed Three In Jail
Early this morning around 3:08am, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) while on patrol arrested three individuals for tagging at the intersection of Calumet and St. Alphonsus Streets. Officers were traveling on Calumet heading towards St. Alphonsus Street when they witnessed about five people dumping large buckets of paint down St. Alphonsus Street towards Tremont Street. As officers approached, the suspects began to run in different directions. Officers were able to apprehend three of the suspects on Calumet Street. Two of the suspect stated to officers that they were making art and making the streets colorful.
Chase Koopersmith, 17, of Boston, Alisa Javits, 19, of Roxbury and Miguel Debraganca, 21, of Roxbury were all arrested and charged with Destruction or Injury to other City Property, Damage To Property By Graffiti/Tagging, Disturbing the Peace and Disorderly.
