At about 2:29am, on Saturday, November 17, 2007, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for a fight at 14 Glenville Avenue in Brighton. While investigating the fight inside the address, officers received information about a white male lying in the rear of the above address. After locating the victim, the victim was transported to Brigham & Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.The victim has been identified as Shawn Dow, 21, of Peabody.
Boston Police continue to actively investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. It is believed that the victim died as a result of blunt trauma sustained from a fall. However, the cause of death is still under investigation at this time.
