CONFIRMED SHOOTING AT 1462 WASHINGTON STREETAt about 11:14pm, on Friday, November 9, 2007, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area 1462 Washington Street. On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers arrested Michael Clark, 28, of Dorchester and charged him with Assault with Intent to Murder.
GRAFITTI GUY BUSTED IN THE SOUTH END
At about 12:10am, on Friday, November 9, 2007, officers from Area D-4 (South End) observed two individuals sitting on the roof of a garage in the area of 172 Newbury Street. Since the individuals were trespassing, officers asked the individuals to come down off the roof. As the individuals were getting off the roof, officers heard what sounded like spray paint cans. When the individuals got down to the ground, officers observed gray paint on the hands of one of the suspects. When asked about the paint, the suspect stated, “I’m not going to lie … I was spray painting.” Officers observed freshly applied spray paint on the walls in the immediate area.
Officers arrested Kyle Haskins, 18, of Norwell and charged him with Damage to Property (Graffiti).
ARMED ROBBER ARRESTED IN HYDE PARK
At about 8:36am, on Friday, November 9, 2007, officers from Area E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for an armed robbery in progress at 991 River Street. By the time police arrived, the suspect was gone. However, the owner of the store responded to the scene and, after reviewing in-store surveillance video, told officers that he recognized the suspect. The owner of the store told police that the suspect is a regular customer of the store. After reviewing an array of photos, the owner of the store was able to positively identify the suspect.
Officers arrested Davion Duhaney, 22, of Hyde Park and charged him with Armed Robbery.
