Five Johns Arrested In Operation SqueezeOn Friday November 3, 2007 at 11:00pm, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) conducted Operation Squeeze. Designed and put into effect to enhance the quality of life for Boston’s residents, Operation Squeeze was conducted in the Roxbury neighborhood making numerous arrests. The operation is an organized plan that uses undercover officers as decoys to arrest “johns” who are adversely affecting the quality of life in the city’s various neighborhoods.
Walter Alexander, 60, of Roxbury, Said Ahmen, 20, of Roslindale, Juan Quintano, 48, of Roxbury, Murat Alerte, 26, of Roxbury and Calvin Cormier, 56, of Dorchester were all arrested and charged with Sex for a Fee.
Armed Robbery of Business
Yesterday at 6:08pm, officers from District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at 57 Franklin Street. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who was working behind the counter when he observed the suspect enter the store. The suspect was described as a black male, slim build, approximately 18-20 years old with a slight moustache wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt pulled tightly around his head. The suspect approached the counter holding a shotgun at his side and demanded cash. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Area E-5 Detectives at (617) 343-4566.

Man Arrested For Disorderly By Safe Street Team
Last night at 9:36pm, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) Safe Street Team observed a black male kicking a grated door inside of (Chung Way) 199 Bowdoin Street. Officers observed food outside of the restaurant as well as inside. After officers calmed the suspect down, the suspect sated that he paid his money for the food that he ordered and that the victim did not give him the correct order. Officers then attempted to speak with the victim when the suspect became aggressive and had to be restrained by officers. Officers then spoke with victim who stated that the suspect placed a big order and she did not want to give him the food until he paid.
Emmanuel Greene, 22, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Disorderly and Resisting Arrest.
