BLUE HILL AVENUE AND ESMOND STREET VICTIM IDENTIFIED

At approximately 4:21pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, officers from District B-3 responded to the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Esmond Street for a person shot. On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center by ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as Andre Stoner, 28, of Dorchester.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information relative to this incident is urged to contact Homicide detectives at (617) 343-4470.
Individuals wishing to remain anonymous are urged to either call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS (8477) or text ‘TIP” to CRIME (27463). Police will protect the identity of those who wish to remain anonymous.
