At approximately 4:21pm today, officers from District B-3 responded to the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Esmond Street for a person shot. On arrival, officers located a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center by ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
