BOSTON POLICE SEEK VEHICLE IN CONNECTION WITH DEATH INVESTIGATION

Boston Police are investigating the death of 33 year-old Huynh Vu Thanh of Dorchester that occurred on September 18, 2007.On September 18, 2007 at approximately 9:38pm, officers responded to a radio call for a person down at 144 Westfield Street in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers observed an Asian male lying on the sidewalk and bleeding from a cut on the right side of his face. The victim also had a bruise on his chest and hip. He was treated on scene, transported to Boston Medical Center and pronounced.
On September 23, 2007 the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy and determined the cause of death to be blunt trauma. The manner of death remains undetermined pending further examination and investigation.
At this time, the Boston Police are making every effort to locate the whereabouts of the victim’s vehicle. Detectives have been actively searching for his motor vehicle and have exhausted every lead.
Investigators are asking the public to come forward with any information related to a vehicle matching the following description:
· Vehicle: Red/Purple 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan
· License Plate: MA REG# 81BT84
