Person Shot on Millet StreetLast night around 8:19pm, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 104 Millet Street. On arrival, officers observed the victim lying on the front stairs in front of 104 Millet Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and is in stable condition.
Safe Street Teams Stops Robber In His Tracks
Last night at 10:08pm, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) Safe Street Team observed a physical altercation at the intersection of Centre and Lamartine Streets. Officers observed a black male grabbing at a white male and a female. Officers approached the three individuals to further investigation the incident. Officers shouted to the suspect to stop. The suspect looked in the direction of the officers turned and began running.
Once the suspect was bought to the ground, officers observed a knife in the suspect’s hand. Officers gave the suspect numerous commands to let go of the knife, at which time he finally complied. The suspect continued to struggle with officers before he was placed in handcuffs.
Officers spoke with the victim, who stated they were walking when the suspect approached them and grabbed the victim’s wallet from his rear pocket. The victim stated it was at that time the officers arrived and stopped the situation from progressing.
Nathaniel Jones Day, 26, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Intent to Rob While Armed, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of Class D and Resisting Arrest.
Red Bull Gives Him Wings
Last night at 10:26pm, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a larceny in progress at 682 Cummins Highway. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that an unknown suspect entered the Petro Plus Gas Station and took a Red Bull drink from the fridge and began drinking it. The victim stated that he told the suspect to pay for the drink. The victim stated the suspect replied, “(Explicative) that I ain’t paying.” The victim stated the suspect threw the empty red bull can to the ground and left the premises in an unknown direction of flight.
