NO TRESPASSING MEANS NO TRESPASSINGAt about 10:21am, on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) received a radio call for the removal of a homeless man at 17 Phillips Street in Boston. En route to the call, officers were informed that an individual fitting the description of the suspect was removed from the same location two nights previous. Officers were also told that the man was warned not to return to the address or face arrest. On arrival, officers observed the suspect sitting on the front steps of the above address smoking what appeared to be marijuana. Officers searched the suspect and recovered a large double bladed, serrated knife. Officers arrested Fitzgerald Casimir, 27, of Dorchester and charged him with the Possession of Class D Drug (Marijuana), Unlawful Carrying of a Dangerous Weapon and Trespassing.
YOUTH VIOLENCE STRIKE FORCE APPREHENDS ARMED SUSPECT
At about 10:00pm, on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force were on patrol in the area of Area B-2 (Roxbury/Mattapan). As officers were traveling along Dewitt Drive, officers observed a large crowd preparing to fight. As officers approached the crowd, the crowd began to disperse. Officers observed one individual looking extremely nervous and apprehensive. Officers approached the individual and asked if he was armed. To which, the suspect replied, “Yes, it’s in my pocket.” Officers searched the suspect and recovered a silver semi-automatic firearm from the suspect’s right rear pocket. Officers arrested Moises Guadalupe Perez, 22, of Revere and charged him with the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm & Ammunition.
DRUG DEAL GONE BAD LANDS TWO IN POLICE CUSTODY
At about 7:15am, on Wednesday, August 8, 2007, members of the Area A-1 (Downtown) and Area E-18 (Hyde Park) Neighborhood Drug Units were patrolling in the area of the Boston Common. Officers, in an undercover capacity, were approached by a black male and white female looking to sell the undercover officers drugs. The officers indicated that they wanted to make a buy. After an exchange of money, the female suspect told officers, “give me your money and I will get you the drugs in McDonalds.” As the female suspect made her way towards the restaurant, the male suspect waited with the undercover officers. During this time, surveillance officers observed the female suspect walk into McDonalds and, then, walk out without speaking to or interacting with anyone. Officers then observed the female suspect rendezvous with the male suspect and the undercover officers. When the undercover officers asked for their drugs, the female suspect stated she gave the money to an individual inside the McDonalds. The female suspect further stated that the individual with the drugs would bring the drugs to the undercover officers. Sensing that the female suspect was lying, undercover officers entered the restaurant to look for the individual with their drugs. However, once inside, officers observed the restaurant to be empty. In the interim, surveillance officers outside the McDonalds observed the female suspect hand something to the male suspect. When undercover officers exited the restaurant, officers demanded their money. To which, the female suspect replied, “get the (expletive) away from me.” Officers then identified themselves as police officers and arrested the two suspects. Officers arrested Cheryl Tucker, 37, of Boston and Darryl Noles, 42, of Dorchester and charged both with Unarmed Robbery.
