Triple Shooting Leaves Two Dead, One CriticalAt about 2:02am, on Thursday, August 2, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 37 Williams Street. On arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, 28 year-old black male, was pronounced at the scene. A second victim, a 20 year-old black male, was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was soon succumbed to his injuries.
Simultaneously, a third victim, a 27 year-old black male, drove to Boston Police District Station B-2 and entered the lobby seeking assistance. An officer observed this individual to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately summonsed EMS, who rushed the victim to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.

Armed Robbery Suspects Apprehended
At about 11:00pm, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force responded to a radio call for a person being attacked in the area of River Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated two individuals robbed him. According to the victim, one of the suspects was wearing red pants and a cast. A short time later, officers located an individual fitting the description provided by the victim. After the suspect was able to positively identify the suspect, officers arrested Teion Anthony Evans, 17, of Milton and a 16 year-old black male from Milton and charged both with Armed Robbery.

At about 4:54pm, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a man with a gun at the Egelston Square Check Cashiers at 1985 Columbus Avenue. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that a black male approached him in the street, kept reaching for an object in his waist area and demanded money.
In an attempt to get away from the suspect, the victim walked into the Check Cashiers. Undeterred, the suspect followed the victim into the store. Once inside the store, patrons of the store began telling the suspect to leave the store. A short time later, officers observed an individual fitting the suspect description. When officers approached the suspect, the suspect began to run. Officers arrested Warren Tyler, 42, of Dorchester and charged him with Armed Robbery.
