BARREL TOSSER ARRESTED IN DORCHESTERAt about 10:00pm, on Monday, July 30, 2007, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a fight at 50 Ridgewood Street. On arrival, officers observed a large group of kids walking in all directions in an effort to leave the area. In an effort to gather information about the altercation, officers approached an individual. When they did, the individual began to run and, then, threw a trash barrel in the direction of the officers. Officers arrested Thompson Khyree, 17, of Roxbury and charged him with Assault By Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
SCREECHING TIRES LEAD TO DRUG ARREST
At about 1:44am, on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, officers from Area C-6 (South Boston) observed a motor vehicle screeching its tires in the area of Dorchester and Gold Streets. As a result, officers activated their emergency equipment (lights & sirens) and pulled the car over. As officers were approaching the car, the operator attempted to exit his vehicle. Officers immediately instructed the suspect to stay in the car. Officers also observed that the suspect to have dilated pupils and bloodshot eyes. As a result of the aforementioned observations, officers then asked the suspect to exit his motor vehicle. When officers looked inside the motor vehicle, officers observed a small plastic bag containing a white powdery substance consistent with the appearance of cocaine. Officers arrested Patrick Sullivan, 36, of South Boston and charged him with Possession of Class B Drugs (cocaine).
