On Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at approximately 7:23pm, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to Arbutus St. and Aston St. for a person shot. On arrival officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center by ambulance with serious injuries and rushed into surgery. On July 10, 2007, the victim, Michael Wiggins, 22, of Roxbury succumbed to his injuries.Boston Police are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
