MAN WITH A KNIFE ARRESTED IN DORCHESTERAt about 11:25pm, on Sunday, June 24, 2007, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person with a knife at 81 Sydney Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that a black male, wearing a bandana, chased him with a knife. The victim further stated that the suspect, along with two others, rode off on bicycles. After hearing a description of the suspects broadcast over Channel 6 of the police radio, officers were able to locate two individuals fitting the description provided by the victim. The victim was then brought to the scene where the suspects were being detained and positively identified the suspect who chased him with the knife. Officers arrested a 14 year-old Hispanic male from Dorchester and charged him with Assault By Means of a Dangerous Weapon (knife).
