A Report Of A Man With A GunYesterday morning around 10:56am, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a person with gun at 72 Lubec Street. On arrival, the caller stated he was doing landscaping work inside the parking lot of 72 Lubec Street, when a female began screaming at him to stop working because he was making too much noise. An unknown male opened the third floor middle window of 85 Lubec Street and yelled at he victim to stop working or they would call the police. The victim stated that the suspect was holding a black object in his right hand, which he believed was a gun. Officers entered the third floor and spoke with both parties who stated they had words with the victim because they felt he was making too much noise for a Sunday morning.
Officers conducted a protective sweep inside the apartment and observed a black television remote controller, but no weapon.
Suspect Arrested after Stabbing
At 4:18pm on Sunday, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for two females fighting at 14 Baker Street. On arrival, officers located the victim bleeding from a puncture wound to the neck. The victim stated she did not call the police, and that she was fine. The victim was treated Boston EMS. Officers searched the area for a heavyset black female wearing a black and silver dress. Officers located a possible suspect fitting the description at 15 Bodwell Street. The victim positively identified the suspect. Bridgette Best, 40, of Charlestown was arrested and charged with assault with intent to Murder.
Towing Dispute
Yesterday around 4:22pm, officers from District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for a towing dispute at 25 Alpine Street. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that the motor vehicle was being towed for parking in a handicap zone on private property. The victim went on to state that the suspect jumped in the vehicle while it was being towed and drove off down the street. Officers spoke with the suspect who confirmed that he was parked in a handicap zone and did move his vehicle while it was being towed.
Armed Robbery of Business
Yesterday at approximately 5:30pm, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for armed robbery located at 20 Park Plaza. On arrival, offices spoke with clerk who stated that a white male wearing a blue sweatshirt, white shirt, red baseball cap with white letter B and blue jeans entered the store and demanded money. The clerk stated that the suspect pulled up his shirt and displayed a firearm. The suspect fled with undetermined amount of cash toward Charles Street.
