Victim in East Boston Incident Succumbs to his Injuries

On April 23, 2007 at 9:24 pm, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call at 44 Marion Street for a person shot. Upon arrival officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from multiple wounds to his head. The victim was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital and was treated for life threatening stab wounds.Yesterday the victim, Frank Dillon, 22, of East Boston succumbed to his injuries.
In addition, officers observed a second victim, who was running around a car and yelling that he had been shot. Officers observed the victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. The 19-year-old male was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital and was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
