DISRESPECTING MOTHER NEVER A GOOD IDEAAt about 9:39am, Thursday, April 12, 2007, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for an abandon call from 135 Harold Street. For those unfamiliar with the protocol, Boston Police respond to all emergency 9-1-1 calls, including those calls where the caller hangs up prior to speaking to a dispatcher. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated she was having trouble controlling her daughter. According to the mother, her daughter was swearing and throwing objects at her. Moreover, the mother also told officers that her daughter had recently been suspended from her middle school for behavioral issues. As officers were speaking to the mother, the daughter (suspect) continued to interrupt and yell at her mother. At one point the daughter yelled at her mother, “(you’re a) bitch!” Despite officers’ warnings, the daughter (suspect) continued to raise her voice and scream at her mother. Officers then arrested a 13 year-old female from Roxbury and charged her with Disorderly Conduct.
