Drop the Body!
About 10:15pm last night, officers from District D-4 (South End) on patrol in the Cathedral Housing complex, observed an individual accompanied by three others carrying an unconscious individual who appeared to be mortally wounded. Officers identified themselves at which time the person carrying the unconscious individual dropped the body. Officers ordered everyone to show their hands, but one the individuals refused to comply and did not show his hands. Further investigation revealed that the individual who had failed to show his hands had a bag of marijuana in his hand. Suspect, Adidas Mastin, 17, of Boston, was arrested and charged Possession of Class D. The unconscious person was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was found to be unconscious from over-consumption of alcohol.
Overnight Accommodations Granted to Wild Reveler
This morning around 1:40am, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) were monitoring the Breezeway Bar at closing time, when they observed a disturbance. Officers made closer observation of the disturbance, and noted that there was an individual attempting to attack another person. Club security personnel made several attempts to separate the two but one individual repeatedly ignored orders to walk away and repeatedly sought to attack another person leaving the bar. Officers escorted the aggressive individual from the scene, and directed him to go home after making note that he had a strong odor of alcohol about him. The “wild reveler” refused continuous orders to leave and started tapping officers on the chest and yelling obscenities at the gathering crowd and officers. Suspect, Purcy Brice, 30, of Malden was then arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace.
