Person shot in MattapanYesterday at 6:10pm, officers from District 3 responded to a radio call for a person shot at Blue Hill Avenue and Wilmore Street. On arrival officers observed the victim being attended to by Boston EMS. Officers were informed that three black males walked up Wilmore Street from Norfolk Street, when one of the males began shooting striking the victim in the leg. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Stabbing Victim Self Applied to Hospital
Last night around 11:26pm, officers from District 3 responded to a radio call for a victim of a stabbing at Carney Hospital. On arrival officers located a female victim suffering from a stab wound to the ankle. The victim stated she was walking in Mattapan Square when she got into a verbal exchange with an unknown black female, which escalated into a fistfight. The victim was stabbed in the ankle when they fell to the ground. The suspect fled the scene and the victim took a cab to the hospital. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Two Guns Recovered After Shots Fired
At 12:46am, this morning officers from District 2 were on patrol in the Orchard Park Developments at the intersection of Eustis and Adams Streets when they heard gunshots. Officers immediately turned onto Adams Street and observed an unknown male walking in the middle of Adams Street. As officers drove towards the suspect, he entered a parked motor vehicle. When officers approached the vehicle on foot they observed a second suspect in the passenger seat. Officers observed a firearm at the feet of the second suspect. The first suspect stated to officers “I got one too officer”. Officers were able to secure both of the suspects and firearms without incident. William Anderson, 25, of Brighton and Christopher Keeter, 21 of Maine were both arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a loaded Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Mr. Anderson with also is charged with Firearm Discharge within 500’ of a Dwelling. Officers did recover two firearms and ballistic evidence.
Two People Stabbed in South Boston
This morning around 3:05am, officers from District 6 observed a big fight on the side of the Shell Gas Station. Officers immediately call for additional units and were approached by first victim who lifted his shirt and showed officers a stab wound. Officers requested EMS and were attempting to settle the chaotic scene when officers located a second victim with a stab wound to the foot. One suspect was placed under arrest and the second suspect fled on foot towards W 3rd St wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Officers observed the second suspect fitting that description heading up Bolton Towards D Street. The two victims were transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Two suspects are currently receiving medical attention at Boston Medical Attention under police guard. As soon as their conditions allows both suspects will be booked at the District 6.
