TONIGHT\’S SHOOTING INCIDENTS, ONE FATAL, ONE CRITICAL

Earlier today around 3:46pm, officers from District 2 responded to the intersection of Columbia Rd. and Washington St. for a person shot. On arrival, offices located an 18 year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center by ambulance with life threatening injuries. The victim, after arriving at the hospital, showed some preliminary signs of surviving his injuries. CLARIFICATION: This victim is currently on life support and not expected to survive. At approximately 7:57pm today, officers from district B-3 responded to a report of a person shot at 69 McLellan St. in Dorchester. There, officers located a male victim in his early twenties suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical personnel transported the victim by ambulance to Boston Medical Center. The victim was pronounced a short while after arriving at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
Boston Police Homicide Detectives are investigating both incidents, and urge any and everyone who was a witness to these incidents to report it.
