Boston Police Seek Information Related to Hit and Run Incident

On February 18, 2007 at 7:30pm, a Boston Police officer responded to the rear 170 Morton Street for a report of an unconscious male lying on the ground. Upon arrival, the officer was informed that EMS had arrived and rushed the victim to Brigham & Woman’s Hospital.The officer proceeded to the hospital and learned that the victim was injured badly and was taken to the operating room. A doctor then informed the officer that the victim had passed away at approximately 9:10pm. The doctor then stated that the victim’s injuries were consistent with those sustained when struck by a motor vehicle. Boston Police believe that this individual was the victim of a hit and run incident.
Boston Police are asking anyone who may have been in that area or may have seen something suspicious to please come forward and contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
