Daily Incidents For January 21, 2007

Two Males Stabbed at 15 Lansdowne StreetThis morning around 2:16am, officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a stabbing in progress at 15 Lansdowne Street. On arrival officers observed several club doormen wrestling on the ground with a suspect. Officers observed two victims lying on the floor with multiple stab wounds. One victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the second to Boston Medical Center for treatment. James Jolley, 26, of Stoughton was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Murder and Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon (Knife). Both victims injuries appear to be non-life threatening. Mr. Jolley will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
Male Shot in Dorchester
This morning around 4:34am, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for a fight at Topliff and Speedwell Streets. On arrival officers heard about four to five shots in the area of 23 Topliff Street, officers observed several males running in the direction of Bowdoin, Stonehurst and Speedwell Streets. Officers did recover ballistic evidence in the area of 23 Topliff Street. Officers at the scene were informed that a gunshot victim walked in Boston Medical Center. Officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is in stable condition.
Suspect Arrested After Breaking into Friends Apartment
This morning around 5:20am, officers in District 18 responded to a radio call to investigate premise at 59 Fairlawn Avenue. The caller informed officers that she feels the building vibrating, sound like someone banging and shaking a door. On arrival officers proceeded to the upper floor and observed the suspect fixing a door lock of an apartment. Officers asked the suspect what happened to the lock. The suspect stated he broke his friends door lock. Officers checked the apartment and did not discover anyone else in the apartment. The suspect stated that he and the apartment occupant were together earlier in the evening and had an argument and he left. The suspect stated he broke the door to enter the apartment. The suspect stated he did not know where the occupant of the apartment was. James Freeman, 38, of Mattapan was arrested and charged with Unarmed Breaking and Entering and Possession of Class C.
