Person Shot With a BB Gun Aboard BusYesterday around 2:49pm, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 500 Geneva Avenue. Officers were informed that the victim was shot in the head and that the suspect fled on Geneva Avenue towards Charles Street. The victim stated he was listening to his headphones when an object struck him in the back of the head. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening injury. Officers did recover a BB gun at the scene.
Home Invasion on Southern Avenue
Yesterday around 6:48pm, officers in District 3 responded to a radio call for a home invasion at 125 Southern Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with a female victim who stated that she was trying to get out of her car when a black male was hiding in her driveway dressed in black grabbed her. The suspect tried to force the victim into the house, at that time the second victim, a, male opened the door to let the female in and the suspect forced his way into the house and began yelling at the male victim. The second victim stated the suspect struck him in the head and face with a silver firearm. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene in a silver vehicle.
Customer Robbed After Leaving Store
Last night around 8:17pm, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at 1305 Dorchester Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated two Asian males with guns robbed him. The victim stated he had left the grocery store and walked across the parking lot when the two suspects approached him at the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Lyon Street. One the suspect pointed a gun and made the victim lie down on the ground. One of the suspects tried to reach into his pocket and take his wallet but was unable to locate it. The suspect demanded money and the victim threw his wallet towards the suspects. The victim was able to retrieve his wallet but noticed that the cash was missing. The suspect fled on foot up Hecla Street towards Adams Street.
