Traffic stops Ends in ArrestWhile conducting operation You Drink and Drive, You Lose, officers in District 6 observed a motor vehicle spinning the tires at a high rate of speed. Officer conducted a traffic stop at Devine Way and Old Colony Avenue. Further investigation revealed that the operator did not possess a valid license. Charlie Harte, 28, of South Boston was arrested and charged with Operating M/V without a License. Mr. Harte also had an outstanding warrant for operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
Home Invasion on Bellevue Street
Last night around 9:56pm, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for an armed home invasion at 49 Bellevue Street. On arrival officers spoke with victim who stated that he arrived home and noticed the light were on in the living room. The victim went on to state that he heard noises coming from the kitchen and went to investigate. The victim stated he observed three black males entering the residence through the rear door located in the kitchen. The victim stated that the suspects were masked and one had a gun. The victim went on to state that the suspect pointed the gun at and ordered him to lie on the floor while demanding money. The victim stated that the suspect instructed him to get into the shower and turn on the shower. The victim stated he was in the shower for a period of time before exiting the bathroom. Upon exiting the shower the victim observed the front door open and several items in the house missing.
Smashed Window at the Rent A Center
This morning around 4:30am, officers in District 13 responded to a radio call for a Glass Break Alarm. On arrival officers observed a front window grate pulled out and part of the frond window smashed. Officers did not observed in suspect inside or any fleeing the area. Officers were unable to determine if anything was taken.
