“Operation Season\’s Greeting” Wraps Up with Six Arrests on the Boston Common

Designed and put into effect to enhance the quality of life for Boston’s residents and visitors, Operation Season’s Greeting was conducted yesterday in the Boston Common making a total of six arrests. The operation is an organized plan that uses undercover officers from Area A and the Drug Control Unit as decoys to arrest drug dealers who are adversely affecting the quality of life in the city’s Boston Common.The following people were arrested: Mark Evans, 45, (Homeless), and Derek Taylor, 38, of Dorchester were both charged with Distribution Class B, Distribution Class B in a School Zone, Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A, and two outstanding warrants.
Troy Anderson, 44, (Homeless) charged with Distribution Class D, Distribution Class D in a School Zone, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D in a School Zone.
Waldemar Castillo, AKA Jose Alberto, 41, of Dorchester, charged with Distribution Class A, and Distribution Class A School Zone.
Santos Dones, 50, (Homeless) and Mario Medina, 48, of Jamaica Plain both charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A in a School Zone, Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws, Distribution Class A, and Distribution Class A in a School Zone.
All six will be arraigned in the Boston Municipal Court.
