The police department is seeking the public’s help identifying the person, or persons, responsible for the shooting death of an 18-year-old male. Boston Police are investigating a multiple shooting that occurred early this morning leaving one dead and four juveniles injured.Today at approximately 3:20am, officers from District 3 responded to a radio call for a fight outside of 67 Milton Ave in Dorchester. On arrival, officers witnessed a large crowd gathered as a result of an after-hours party that had taken place inside the above reported location. At that time, officers observed an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. This victim was treated on scene by EMS, and then transported to Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
In addition, officers located four other victims including a 14-year-old female, 15-year-old female, 16-year-old male and 17-year-old male all suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to local hospitals with the exception of the 17-year old male, who received medical attention on scene.
Boston Police recovered ballistics evidence and continue to investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
