Person Shot in MattapanThis morning around 3:36am, officers in District 3 responded to Boston Medical Center on a report of a person shot. Officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim stated he was at the Mobile Gas station at Blue Hill Avenue. The victim went on to state that an unknown person banged on the m/v. The victim stated he took off and heard shots fired and realized that he was shot. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Three Arrested for Breaking and Entering
This morning around 2:56am, officers in District 1 responded to a radio call for vandalism in progress at Mt Vernon and Walnut Streets. On arrival officers observed two suspects fitting the description walking on Walnut towards Mt Vernon. As officers approached the suspects they fled on foot in opposite directions. After a brief chase officers were able to apprehend both suspects, one on Beacon street and the other around 50 Mt. Vernon Street. The third suspect was apprehended at Beacon and Charles Street. Ricardo Bautista, 18, Edwin Flores, 17, and Carlos Chicas, 19, all of East Boston were arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Possession of burglarious Tools and Destruction or injury of Personal Property.
