Shoplifter Attempts to Walk Out of Store with $14,000 Diamond RingYesterday around 3:00pm officers from District 4 responded to 100 Huntington Ave./Barney’s of New York for a shoplifter. There, officers spoke to loss prevention officers from the store who reported that the suspect, William Stanley, 43, of South Boston placed a diamond ring, valued in excess of $14,000, in his pocket and attempted to walk out of the store. The suspect was arrested and charged with Shoplifting-$200 and Over.
I’ll Huff and I’ll Puff and I’ll Blow Your Doors Away
At approximately 12:50am today, officers from District 1 responded to 6 Commercial St./Sissy K for vandalism in progress. On arrival, officers spoke to manager who reported that a disgruntled customer who had been escorted out of the bar broke the front door window. The manager further stated that the customer after being escorted out of the bar continued to attempt to re-enter the bar. After numerous attempts by the customer and refusals, the customer grabbed a metal trashcan and threw it through the window shattering the glass of the front door and damaging the doorframe. The suspect, Anthony Sullivan, 25, of Brockton was arrested and charged with Malicious Destruction of Property.
