Man Arrested On The Spirit Of BostonThis morning around 1:45am, officers in District 6 were on patrol in the area of 200 Seaport Blvd. and heard an audible alarm. As officers notified 911 they were informed that an alarm had been entered, and the alarm was triggered from the kitchen area. Officers boarded the ship and upon descending a rear stairwell, observed the above suspect on the lower deck. The suspect stated he was a security officer but could not provide legitimate security identification. Officers observed the door to the kitchen was open. Jose Villegas, 41, of Boston was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering.
Armed Robbery of the Store 24 in Hyde Park
This morning around 2:13am, officers in District 18 responded to 1187 Hyde Park Avenue relative to an Armed Robbery. On arrival officers spoke with the caller who stated that a black male entered the store brandishing a handgun. The suspect removed unspecified amount of cash from the register before leaving the scene.
