Victim Robbed While Walking in DorchesterA Dorchester resident reported that at the intersection of Centre and Melbourne Street in Dorchester he was approached by two unknown males last night at 6:15pm. The victim, who was smoking a cigarette, was asked by one of the suspects for a cigarette who then pulled a firearm on the victim and robbed him of U.S. Currency. The suspects fled on foot and remain at large.
Suspect Arrested After Spitting on Police Officer
Last night at about 10:50pm, an officer assigned to District 14 encountered two individuals at the intersection of Foster and Washington Streets. On the individuals, Sean Arthur, 28, of Brighton spit at the officer striking him in the forehead. Police arrested the suspect and transported him to District 14 where he was charged with Assault and Battery.
Boxes of Pregnancy Tests Kits Stolen
An officer from District 11 responded to the CVS at 715 Morrissey Boulevard this morning shortly after midnight for a report of a larceny. The officer spoke with the store manager who stated that a suspect entered the store and took 4 to 5 boxes of pregnancy test kits and fled without paying for them. The suspect fled in a black motor vehicle.
District 3 Officers Arrest Suspect After Stabbing
This morning at about 11:52am, officers from District 3 responded to Washington Street and Vassar Street on a report of a fight. On arrival, the officers spoke with a 19-year-old female who stated five girls attacked her and she was slashed with a knife. Boston EMS responded to the scene and treated the victim. Descriptions of the suspects were broadcasted to other district officers. Police stopped Kentavia Merrit, 21, of Dorchester at 262 Washington
Street. She was brought back to the scene and positively identified by the victim. Merrit will be charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
